Full time Program Manager based in our Waterloo office to provide oversight for the Outreach programs that promote our agency mission to reduce poverty. The Program Manager will supervise Case Managers, Reentry Coordinators and Housing supportive service staff and also provide regular community outreach activities across the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Outreach programs works towards helping clients in removing barriers to self-sufficiency, provide financial literacy and work with volunteers to provide mentoring. This position will work in a multi-county area and will facilitate relationships with parishes and other organizations. If you are a Social Worker, have a Bachelor's degree in a human service field or have equivalent work experience in a social service or a non-profit supervisory role, you are encouraged to apply. Full Time Case Manager will promote the agency's mission to reduce poverty by working with clients to identify and remove barriers to self-sufficiency. This is a social work position that will provide direct service to clients. The Case Manager will serve Catholic Charities clients and partner with other social service agencies and parishes to identify the unmet needs of individuals, leverage community resources, and provide assistance to people in a multi-county area. The Case Manager will be required to complete training to become a HUD Certified Housing Counselor in order to provide financial literacy through one-on-one counseling and group training classes. The primary objectives of this program are to improve financial management through household budgeting, enhance access to affordable housing, avoid eviction, and pursue goals of homeownership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working individually with clients to help them reach their goals, coordinating rental assistance, and tracking/reporting data related to poverty reduction. Some travel within the Archdiocese (30 counties in NE Iowa) is required, as well as occasional evening and weekend work when needed. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field in Human Services is required.
