Amanda Baldiviezo

Amanda Baldiviezo is the Program Manager for Catholic Charities, joining the team in 2025. She spent nearly two decades working as a journalist in the television news industry before pivoting to serve her community. Amanda was the Executive Director of an area child abuse prevention agency where she advocated for children and pushed for harsher penalties for child predators. She was recognized by the YWCA as the Child Advocate of the Year and Female Trailblazer in Iowa by the National Action Network. Amanda graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where she was recently inducted into its School of Communication Hall of Fame.
