Gloire is passionate about using his multicultural skills to serve the community and brings this energy to his role at Catholic Charities. He previously served as an AmeriCorps member at Catholic Charities and Catherine McAuley Center, where he worked with immigrants and refugees in the Cedar Rapids community. Gloire is fluent in English, Swahili, French, & Lingala and has taken classes in International Studies at the University of Iowa.
As a refugee, Gloire received his citizenship with the help of Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services and uses this experience to connect with immigrant and refugee clients. Gloire's position provides navigation and case management services in the Cedar Rapids. In his free time, Gloire enjoys film production and scriptwriting.
