Lindsey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master’s Degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
She works alongside her clients to help them heal from past trauma, improve self-esteem, and learn ways to overcome and cope with anxiety, depression, life stressors, and grief. Lindsey draws from her training in therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Integrated Family Systems (IFS), and client-centered approach to create a unique and customized treatment plan, individualized for each client. Lindsey also believes in empowering her clients by giving them psychoeducation on how their brains work and the brain-body connection. She has taught classes on healthy boundaries, effective communication, managing stress, and coping with emotions.
Her hope for her clients is that they achieve a deeper level of wellness and peace through a healthy integration of mind, body, and spirit. Lindsey values the importance of incorporating spiritual concepts into the therapy setting if desired by her clients. She is honored to accompany people from all backgrounds on their journey to healing and growth.
Lindsey works with individuals age 8+, as well as families and couples.
