Lori Eastwood, L.I.S.W.

School-Based Counselor

Lori has been a counselor with Catholic Charities since January 2005 with over 30 years of experience. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Iowa. Lori utilizes a client-centered and strengths-based approach incorporating a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused style, that also includes mindfulness. Additionally, she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and Gottman Level I and II. She also spends time in local parochial schools providing clinical support to students and works closely with schools to provide consultation to teachers and staff. Lori is also a certified trainer in adult and youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
