Todd joined Catholic Charities in March 2015. He has been a counselor in the Dubuque area since 2007. Todd assists individuals seeking improvement of their mental or emotional wellness. This includes anxiety, depression, grief, transitional life adjustments, assertiveness training, and other concerns. Todd joined Catholic Charities offering his diverse life experiences. He grew up on a family farm, worked in a metal fabrication factory, attended college and graduate school, worked as a chemical dependency counselor, and worked as a mental health crisis counselor.
Todd obtained his Master’s degree in General and Counseling Psychology from Loras College. He holds a Mental Health Counselor License (LMHC). Additionally, he is certified as an International Alcohol and Drug Counselor (IADC). Todd is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR) level 1. Todd utilizes a variety of techniques to help his clients work towards change and recovery. Todd is a sincere, humble, and jovial person. He takes a goal oriented and clinical approach to help clients work on their change plan.
